HILLSTROEM is a swedish musical projekt founded in January 2010, which aims to write, play and spread new versions of the songs of Joe Hill. HILLSTROEM will make new translations of the songs into Swedish and make new musical arrangements. The songs will also be presented in new version in it´s original language - english.
HILLSTROEMs members got their musical background in the punkscene and plays or have resently been playing in band such as Varnagel, Järnmalm and Greta Kassler to mension a few. The influences from the punkscene will be obvious to some, imperceptible to others. All the members are living in or close to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. |
